Colby Treat

Colby started dancing Ballet when she was 2 years old. She was a member of Manhattan Youth Ballet’s Studio Company and BalletMet's Pre-Professional Academy before joining Carolina Ballet, where she danced with the company for 5 years. Colby was trained by Dionne Kamara in Brain Compatible Dance Education and now teaches at Union Square Play. She joined the New York State Summer School of the Arts Ballet staff in 2015, and was promoted to Assistant Director of Administration in 2019. Since choosing to embark on an NYC-based freelance dancing career, she has performed as a Soloist with Neglia Ballet, Albany Berkshire Ballet, and EdwardMorgan Ballet. She has studied with Miro Magloire of New Chamber Ballet, and Wilhelm Burmann, and is a former member of Galletto Dance. Colby is thrilled to have joined FJK Dance in November of 2022.
